From: Anti-inflammatory and anti-aging effects of hydroxytyrosol on human dermal fibroblasts (HDFs)
Cell aging-inhibiting effects of hydroxytyrosol in UVA-irradiated HDF. HDF was cultured for 24 h and pre-treated with hydroxytyrosol of different concentrations for 6 h. Afterward, the cells were irradiated with UVA for 24 h. The SA-β-gal analytical method was used to measure aging. The staining solution was added to fixed cells for staining. The number of stained cells was counted to determine the aged cell ratio. The graph showed the averages of three experiments with error bars representing standard deviation (*p < 0.05)
